The success of several courses posed a pressing problem for the Lace Centre: a lack of teachers. In order to do away with this gap, a " Monitorat " was brought into being. This is a shorted version of the Teachers' College to be a lace teacher. The teaching method has been brought up to date now and the education takes 3 years. A thorough practical knowledge of the bobbin lace is an absolute necessity.

Regularly the Lace Centre organises follow-up sessions in order to optimise the knowledge of the graduates. The essays, linked to the Certificate of Secondary Education, are popular reference books for that matter.
