Hope

'Hope' is the latest publication of the Lace Centre. It is a beautiful pattern folder, put together by the Binche Masterclass, under the direction of Miss Anne-Marie Verbeke-Billiet.
The following ladies participated in this folder: Alice Harte, Anne-Marie Verbeke, Annie Tamsin, Anny Slegers, Jeanne Vroemen, Kumiko Nakazaki, Lieve Van Landschoot, Ton Pauly en Vera Mariën.

This edition in four languages shows all patterns of the unique lacework "Hope" realised some time ago by this group. Recently it has been sold by public auction in the art auction house Bernaerts in Antwerp for the benefit of the action "Stand up against Cancer". The Lace Centre bought off the copyright and also this group of co-workers spontaneously handed over this amount to this action.

The eleven parts of this work of art are all pearls in Binche technique and craftsmanship. Technical drawings in multi-colour printing make it all very comprehensible for the interested laceworkers.

A pattern folder that many Binche enthusiasts will not want to miss. That is why we do very much recommend this work to you. It is really a must.
